Gotta keep it PG-13!
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s steamy sex scene in Breaking Dawn will be missing one key thing: Edward Cullen’s “butt crack!”
In an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that airs Friday, Pattinson, 25, explained why his anatomy had to be blurred out. “There was a bit too much butt crack, I think,” he quipped of his and Stewart’s love scene. “That was one thing I know they cut out. They didn’t cut the shot or whatever, they just cut the crack out.”
DeGeneres, 53, asked how it was possible to “cut the crack out,” to which the actor replied: “They just painted over it!”
“They cover it so there is no crack on your butt?” DeGeneres asked. “You just look like one solid cheek?”
Pattinson had a simple explanation: “You’re allowed to show cheek. You can’t show crack.”
Stewart, 21, told MTV News the sex scene with her real-life beau was “all close-ups” and “not a beginning-to-end sex scene; it’s memories.”
Pattinson, meanwhile, joked that he felt “kind of like the coolest person” during the pivotal Breaking Dawn moment. “[I thought], ‘This is easy! I can fulfill people’s sexual fantasy expectations without even thinking about it, piece of cake.’ That isn’t acting.”

The actor also opens up to THR.com editor Joseph Kapsch about having a new director — Bill Condon — come aboard the final two films in the franchise.
Robert Pattinson has played a vampire in the Twilight movies and acted opposite an pachyderm in Water for Elephants, but he says he wasn’t quite prepared for his most recent challenge: working with a “dead” Kristen Stewart in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1.

We’re just days away from seeing the much-hyped Breaking Dawn Part I wedding scene, and a few Twilight cast members are letting bare-bones details slip.
“Rob [Pattinson] looked like a stud,” Kellan Lutz tells InStyle.com. “And Kristen Stewart is just stunning. She really made everyone turn heads. She looked so beautiful.”
According to Pattinson, Stewart did turn heads — and for good reason. “I’d seen her in the wedding dress, but pretty much everyone in the cast hadn’t seen her,” he told Ann Curry Thursday during a chat on Today. “So when she’s walking down the aisle and everyone turns around to her, it’s genuine curiosity because there was so much secrecy about it.”
For his part, Pattinson was a bit confused by the secrecy. “It’s a white dress,” he joked. “But it’s beautiful, it’s an incredible dress. She looks amazing.”
Participating in an on-screen wedding gave the actor new appreciation for real-life nuptials, too. “Watching Kristen … she had to take all the nerves, all the heavy lifting in the scene,” he said. “You suddenly realize that the role of a man, the role of a groom in a wedding, is that of a prop.” Tell us: Are you excited for the Twilight wedding?

First, the bad news: “Twilight: Breaking Dawn” star Robert Pattinson was a guest on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday, but he and the host did not do a “Robert Is Bothered” bit.
They did, however, shoot suction-cup darts at one another. So it’s hard to complain too much.
Pattinson first sat for an interview with Fallon in which he talked about people thinking he sounds less British than he used to and the experience of putting his hands and feet in cement — which he says felt more like “black toothpaste” — at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. He also claims he would have gone diva and stormed off if (as seen in this photo) co-star Kristen Stewart had actually touched his face with her cement/toothpaste hands.
They also, you know, talked a little bit about the movie, which opens Nov. 18, before moving on to the main event: a round of bow-and-arrow darts. It’s better seen than explained, so here you go:
