This fall’s final installment of “The Twilight Saga” will leave fans feeling bitter-sweet. While excitement bubbles with the anticipation of seeing “Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ finally grace the big screen, it wavers a bit with the realization that the cast has put away their golden contacts for good. When MTV News caught up with Kristen Stewart, she told us what her last moments on set were like after filming “Breaking Dawn” reshoots.

Keeping true to KStew’s honest nature, it wasn’t filled with teary-eyed goodbyes or a final empowering line from the script. Instead, she injured herself. “The very last thing I did was step on a rusty nail,” she said, “before a big promotional tour, running barefoot through fake woods.”

That’s pretty typical Stewart behavior if you ask us.

“I know! It was literally perfect,” she continued. “I was like, ‘I need to do this on a ‘Twilight’ set before I had to go wear heels in front of the entire world and have people go, ‘She’s just ridiculous with the heel situation.’ It’s like, ‘No, I promise you I actually hurt myself again!’ “

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner will be dropping by MTV News for MTV First: The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 7:56 p.m. ET. The cast members will do an interview where they’ll answer fan questions and introduce a new preview clip from the upcoming movie.

Fans can submit questions via text and video immediately at MTV.com or via Twitter by sending messages to @MTVNews using the hashtags #AskTwilight and #MTVFirst.

In Part 1, Edward and Bella finally reach the altar and let’s say things happen on the honeymoon. That, of course, breaks all kinds of rules in the supernatural world. And the wolf pack’s tribe, the Quileute, and the vampire ruling class, the Volturi, are closing in on them.

The movie hits theatres on Nov. 18.

The singer will reveal the clip for “It Will Rain” on Wednesday, Oct. 26 during an exclusive sit down interview with the network.

Twihard alert: Bruno Mars will bring his new music video, featuring never-before-seen clips from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, to MTV.

The Grammy award winner will debut his clip for “It Will Rain” on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 7:54 pm ET during an exclusive sit down with MTV. Mars will answer fan questions, which can currently be submitted via video (on MTV.com) and Twitter, and participate in an extended interview with Sway Calloway to be broadcast live on MTV.com. Twilight soundtrack Music Supervisor Alexandra Patsavas will also be on hand for the event, as well as a few lucky super fans.

The first single from the soundtrack, which also features Christina Perri, Aqualung & Lucy Schwartz and Mia Maestro, hit iTunes on Tuesday, Sept. 27 and immediately began climbing the iTunes chart. The track peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100. The complete album is slated for a Nov. 8 release.

“The Twilight movies for me [are] a love story. But it’s a dark love story. And I think the best way to describe the song is: it’s the darker side of love. I think that pretty much sums it up,” Mars told Billboard.biz of the song.

The penultimate movie in Stephenie Meyer’s vampire saga is due in theaters on Nov. 18 of this year, with Part 2 scheduled for Nov. 16, 2012.

Robert Pattinson has not shied away from admitting how close he came to quitting show business, fed up with endless auditions and persistent unemployment.

“Literally the day before I auditioned [for 'Twilight'], I was going to quit acting ’cause I never got any jobs,” Pattinson said last fall. “So I guess that’s not really quitting, when you’re not really getting any jobs. It’s just surrendering to fate.”

Fate, so it seemed, had other plans for the British heartthrob, who went on not only to become the smoldering vampire at the center of the “Twilight” franchise but an executive producer on “Remember Me” and the upcoming co-star of A-listers like Uma Thurman and Reese Witherspoon. But the lessons of those early struggles continue to stay with Pattinson and inform his decision-making process to this day.

“Professionally, as soon as you start thinking about the choices you’re making in terms of the future, in terms of your career, you start doing it out of fear,” he told MTV News. “If you’re doing it for your career, just choosing jobs because you want to have a job after that, you’re not actually choosing…

That’s what E! Online confirmed to us. The trio will be together presenting the awards.

The trio will once again hit the stage together to introduce a never-before-seen scene from Eclipse. They did the same for New Moon at last year’s Movie Awards and MTV’s Video Music Awards in September.

MTV has an interesting interview with Elizabeth Reaser, about Eclipse and the tent scene.

Elizabeth Reaser might play Edward’s adopted vampire mom, Esme Cullen, in “Twilight,” but that doesn’t mean she can’t find the “Eclipse” tent scene to be one really sexy moment. If Twi-Hards thought it was hot in the book, Reaser said, then they really need to see the flick, out June 30.

“The tent scene, I remember that being one of the hottest scenes in the books, so I’m excited to see that,” Reaser said when she stopped by the MTV News offices Tuesday (May 18). “I’m Team Edward, so I can’t relate to [Bella] being torn [between Edward and Jacob], but I mean, come on, vampires are cool! Wolves are super hairy and they smell disgusting, like dogs.”
