Kellan Lutz was in high spirits at the LA premiere of Breaking Dawn Part 1 on Monday evening at the Nokia Theater. Kellan gushed about the opportunities Twilight has given him, including this weekend’s box office winner, Immortals. Kellan also joked about the Jersey Shore-esque future he saw for his character, Emmett Cullen, as well as Edward and Bella after their wedding.

A rep for the actor tells THR that the hundreds of fans he paid a surprise visit to over the weekend did not enjoy the 480 doughnuts he brought them.
While activists across the globe sit in and camp out for the Occupy movement, there remains another, possibly more devoted group going unbathed: the Twilight fans.
Twilight “Tent City” (current population: 1,400) went up in downtown Los Angeles last week in anticipation of Monday’s premiere screening and red carpet for the saga’s penultimate installment, Breaking Dawn – Part One. Many residents have slept on the ground for four nights just to catch a glimpse of the franchise stars, and on Friday one of them made an early appearance.
Kellan Lutz, who plays Emmett Cullen in the series and currently stars as Poseidon in Immortals, stopped by late in the evening with 40 dozen glazed Krispy Kreme doughnuts for his devoted fans. He started making his way through the three massive tents, nestled between the Nokia Theater and the Staples Center, passing out the baked goods with staffers from Summit Entertainment, when he was cut short.

If “The Twilight Saga” DVDs are lacking one thing, it’s a proper bloopers reel. I mean, who wouldn’t want to watch Taylor Lautner get stuck in his too-tight T-shirt as he whips it off for yet another shirtless scene? (NOT THIS GIRL) So it’s in that spirit that we asked Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz earlier this year which funnies they’d include on the “Breaking Dawn” DVD. And they revealed a pretty great tidbit:

Actors of Twilight saga talk about the ups and downs of stardom.
Ever since Ashley Greene took on the role of Alice Cullen she’s been in the ‘Twilight’ zone. The actress told USA Today that her sudden fame has its ups and downs. Instant recognition factor, for example, is both good and bad. ‘Twilight’ fans are among the most rabid and sometimes they approach Greene and other cast members with unexpected and creepy requests.
‘I’ve gotten asked by people to get a lock of Rob’s hair,’ she says of co-star Robert Pattinson, who plays the vampire Edward Cullen. ‘I’ve even had girls come up to me and ask to smell my hair.’
She goes on to say, ‘I’ve gotten proposals, and I always wonder, ‘what would [people] do if I said yes?”
Greene isn’t the first ‘Twilight’ star to weigh in on the weirdness. Pattinson has also been quite vocal about his discomfort with the level of adulation of which he finds himself subject. Pattinson is forever mobbed by fans, some of whom take the creepiness to a whole other life-threatening level by cutting themselves and then asking him to suck the blood from their self-inflicted wounds.
Pattinson told the News of the World, ‘People ask me to bite them and want to touch my hair.
‘I just don’t want someone to have a needle and give me HIV and I don’t want to get shot or stabbed.’
The actor said that he feels vulnerable at premieres and big film events, where he believes he may be targeted by obsessive fans.
But it’s not all gory. There’s glory too. Greene, 22, said the recognition has helped her climb the industry ladder, adding to her list of accomplishments.
‘Instantly we have this fan base, instantly we have these careers and people know who we are,’ she told USA today, going on to say that the rush felt like ‘instant happiness. … People now actually care about what projects I’m in.’
‘I got done with ‘Twilight’ and went independent-crazy,’ Greene said. Between the first and second ‘Twilight’ movies she filmed two indie films: ‘Warrior,’ and ‘Skateland’ which will premiere at Sundance in January.
Greene has also just signed on to play the lead in the Warner Bros. big budget thriller ‘The Apparition.’ And Pattinson is in talks to play John Lennon in Robert Zemeckis remake of ‘Yellow Submarine.’
‘To be the lead in my own box-office film is just another step,’ Greene said.
